Such a fun session!!

I had the most rockin family session this evening.  It has been raining and miserable outside for days, and days.  Tonight was the only night that would work for photos, and the only break in the lousy weather until next week, according to the weather forecast, was tonight.  I went for a drive in the pouring rain with my kids yesterday hunting for the perfect field of daisies, and in spite of the complaints of boredom (what, looking for the perfect photo spot is super fun… don’t know what the issue was!), we managed to find the perfect, accessible field.  Yay!

 This morning dawned dark and wet.. but we kept our optimistic faces on, and wouldn’t you know it, but a blustery wind blew in a break in the clouds.  It was a GORGEOUS evening, and the light was just stellar.  I think Katrine and her children were a “bit” chilly, but they were brave, and it was SO worth it.
